We chose this cabin for a Guys Weekend and it was the perfect size for our group. The managing company was very helpful in suggesting fun activities in the area which we took them up on. We also enjoyed the poker table and pool table for down time.

We stayed at the Wooden Haven this past weekend and absolutely loved it! The house was so clean, beautiful, and came with many accommodations. We had the cozy cabin feel that we we're looking for! Restaurants and activities are all close by, but we loved being in the cabin so much it was hard to leave and go out! We will definitely be back again. Our group decided to make this an annual trip! Our group has stayed at two of Neil's homes the two most recent MLK weekends. I can sincerely report that both stays have been wonderful. Neil is prompt, courteous, and willing to help in every way to make our stay more pleasant. The two houses were basically the same layout and perfectly furnished. The all wood construction gave it a very homey vibe and the hot tub was a big hit. Everything worked as advertised and there was plenty of room to accommodate at least 10 people. The home is a great mountain chalet getaway that is not too far of a drive from NYC but still close to the Pocono mountains for winter time shenanigans. Jack Frost is right around the corner for tubing, skiing, and boarding. The town is just a short drive away where you can find a supermarket/convenience store, a liquor store and deli. Overall the experience could not have been better.

Neil was so helpful & responsive. He accommodated our arrival and departure times with flexibility and generosity. The home was perfect for a ski weekend with another family. The lay-out provided enough space for children to play in the basement while the adults relaxed on the main level. It was well-crafted, clean, and comfortable. The bedding and linens were high quality as well. The fireplaces and hot tub were easy to use and enhanced our cozy winter weekend. We plan to come back in the summer to take advantage of the close access (4 mi) to biking/rafting. Honestly, Neil is a great owner and his passion for this area in the Poconos is obvious and appreciated.

My family and friends stayed here on President's Weekend 2015. The online pictures do not do justice to the cabin - it is beautiful, picturesque, and spacious. When we arrived, the cabin had a wonderfully clean aroma, and the place was spotless (and I'm a bit of a germ-a-phobe). The cabin was well supplied with kitchen utensils, pots/pans, linens, dish/laundry detergent - everything that a group needs to feel at home. There were televisions, a pool table, a poker table, and plenty of sofas and lounge chairs for entertainment and hang-out time. The cabin is also well supplied with heat - there's a thermostat in every room (the bedrooms are also well-sized), and there are two gas fire places... it gets toasty quickly. There was quite a bit of snow when we stayed, so a man came to plow the driveway and laid down cinderblock. We had a great time and highly recommend.

Neil was a great owner to rent from and his property is amazing. The house is big, bright, and very clean. My friends and I had a great time enjoying the house for a long weekend celebrating my fiancés 30th birthday. It comfortably sleeps up to 14 people and has plenty of living space to enjoy with a pool table, poker table, two gas fireplaces, flat screen tvs, fire pit, and grill! House is turnkey with plenty of towels, toilet paper.. ect but make sure to bring personal soap. You will not be disappointed with this rental!

It was an amazing place to stay for the weekend.

I came here with a group of 16, most of the group were coming Friday evening, except me and another friend leaving late Thursday night to arrive on Friday 2-3am. So I arrived to the Poconos coming from NYC, me and my arrive around 3am, we go up to the house, and our key door lock code wasn't working, we tried all sorts of combinations. So we had to call Neil at 3am in the morning to help, and he picked up promptly. Neil picks up the phone, and he was so friendly, and told us we were actually at the wrong house lol, (the house had the same finishes inside and equipment like hot tub and poker table as well) he told us the house was another .08 miles away, and when we get there, he actually drove to the house to greet us. Again, with a smile on his face, he was so friendly, gave us some info about the local area on where to hike and visit. The hot tub was also warmed up and ready to go, and when we needed more water for a refill and also more firewood, the request was promptly filled. House was stocked with plenty of towels and toilet paper, as well as plates, utensils and appliances. I have no complaints about the house, my only complaint was staying only for 2 days, I enjoyed my experience thoroughly there, I will definitely stay and book here again!

The owner and staff was very responsive and made the rental process very smooth. The owner even woke up at 3am in the morning to make sure that we got to the place ok. The chalet is beautiful and very well appointed. Area has tons of activities to offer. Definitely looking to stay here and/or other property owned by the same person again.

A group of 10 of us stayed here for Superbowl weekend. The house was just the right size with spacious bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms and two separate hang-out areas (living room and basement). The gas fireplaces worked GREAT and kept the entire house warm and toasty! Everything is brand new and VERY clean. We did have an issue on the first night when the hot tub stopped working. However, Neil sent someone to fix it the following morning and we were able to enjoy it for the rest of the weekend. Neil was available at all times for questions and wanted to be sure we all had a wonderful time. We woke up each morning to deer in the backyard which was an extra special treat! We would recommend staying here and will definitely be back next year to celebrate Superbowl 2016!!!

I rented this home along with a group of 11 other adults and 3 small children. It was a wonderful house! Everything was very clean, basic amenities were provided and the layout was great. 2 bedrooms were on each floor of the house (3 floors) with a bathroom on each floor....this was perfect for everyone to be spread out and have enough space for themselves. There was a large deck that was nice to sit out on, as well as relax in the hot tub on it. We took advantage of using the grill and fire pit, which had a full tank of gas and plenty of fire wood to use. Our group also enjoyed going to Hickory Run State Park and Lehigh Gorge State Park, each about a 10-20 minute drive away, depending on what part you visited. What made this rental even better was working with the owner, Neil. He was always very prompt with his responses and offered lots of help. We had an issue with a screen door, when we arrived it was not opening/closing properly. Not a big deal, but I wanted to inform Neil so he knew about it. He has a maintenance man that he sent out later that day just to fix the door, which was wonderful and not expected. He also provided a list of local places to eat, stores, etc which we used and was very helpful. Our whole group had a great time on our weekend away, I would highly reccommend this house and renting from Neil.

I can't say enough wonderful things about this house and the owner. It was perfect for the mission team, which was a mixture of teenagers and adults. This was the fourth year that I have made the arrangements for our lodging and this year, by far, was the best. Mr. Brown was awesome to work with. If we find our mission back in this area we will definitely stay again!

This property is amazing. It is very clean and inviting. This is the 3rd year that the ladies in our family have stayed in the Poconos. This is by far the nicest property that we have stayed. Plenty of space for everyone. We loved the fire pit. Neil was very nice to work with. I would highly recommend this property to everyone. We will be returning next year.

A group of classmates and I recently stayed in the chalet for the weekend to attend a conference. The chalet is beautiful, everything is in excellent condition and there is plenty of room for a big group. The hot tub and fire pit was perfect for the chilly evenings. Neil was wonderful he was very helpful from the beginning of the process. He was available at any time day or night. This is the first time I have used VRBO and I recommend it to anyone. Thank you Neil for opening your home to us and providing us with a real "home away from home" for the weekend!

Yep, that's what all the kids said! Best ever. Neil, the owner, was so friendly and answered any of my texts promptly, even on Thanksgiving Day! The house was so very clean (right down to the kitchen essentials) which was important to me. Everything was in order, easy to find and easy to use. Plus, both Neil and his maintenance crew were available at the drop of a hat which, when you are away in unfamiliar territory, is a very valuable asset! At the end of the stay we all hated to leave which is why we are planning our return! Thank you Neil and crew!

Better than the pictures! This home is gorgeous, exceptionally clean, everything that was needed was there. They even had little towel animals made in each bathroom and little candies. It was the best home I've ever stayed in. Neil and his cleaning/maintenance staff were very accommodating, checking in making sure everything was ok, and providing us with information for the area. We got a little lost getting there, but the cleaning service was still at the house and they waited for us to arrive to make sure we got to the right house which was very nice. We had 15 adults in the house and we all slept comfortably. I have ZERO complaints and definitely will go back to this house, maybe even make it a tradition :) Thank you Neil and team for everything!

A group of us went to the chalet for a co worker getaway! The house was amazing plenty of Windows and deck space to enjoy the views! Everything was stocked and clean for us and we couldn't have asked for a better experience! Neal is easy to deal with and he answers any questions quickly and efficiently! Would definitely use Neal again in the future!! Overall great experience!

We couldn't have asked for a better home. The property is well maintained with great amenities. Everything was perfect. We are already planning our next weekend here in the fall.

This Chalet is absolutely beautiful. This is the only home I have ever rented in which I didn't have to clean a single thing upon arrival, it was immaculate! Everything is provided for you and the owner and support staff are so friendly and helpful. It comfortably fit my large family of 13 with plenty of beds and room to spare. We stayed in summer and I can only imagine how beautiful the surrounding yard looks in the fall, we will be back!

This is the second year that we have spent Women's Weekend at this property. The ladies in my family could not be more pleased. The property is super clean & well maintained. Everything you need is provided. Our family of 12 had plenty of room & lots to do the entire weekend. Our favorite part is the fire pit. We already have plans to return next year. Had my birthday weekend here, this would be my second time at this house. The home has everything you need, clean and comfortable, the owner and his team are very easy to communicate and work with. Came with a group of 12 and we had such a wonderful time. The house was clean and everything was nicely laid out and ready to go when we got there. Even the pool table was racked up, which I found to be a nice touch. As you can see in the pictures, the house itself has a really great aesthetic. We came in late January and the house was warm and comfortable and the hot tub was a nice bonus. The house has a secluded feel and we even got a fire going out back with wood supplied at the house. Neil was a pleasure to communicate with and all of his responses were timely and informative. We will definitely look into a return trip in the future. Thanks Neil!

Booked the home for a weekend getaway with a group of friends, and we couldn't have been more pleased! The chalet was extremely clean, well-kept, and cozy. We were having some WiFi connection issues, but Neil was helpful and quick in resolving the issue. Highly recommend this place for anyone who wants a relaxing weekend away!

We recently rented the chalet for a long weekend in the Poconos - a group of five families with kids. The house was clean, roomy, and in a great location. The owner was easily accessible and great to work with. He even helped with our spa reservations for the moms in the group. We had a wonderful time and will most certainly be back!

I went with a church group of 16 people and it was great! It accommodated all of us comfortably and was very cozy. Neil was great communicating with me and was quick to respond to my messages and emails. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone!

This was our 2nd long weekend stay in this gorgeous chalet. Everything is turnkey and extremely clean! We couldn't ask for a more beautiful or better kept home to vacation in. The owners are kind and beyond helpful!

This was my fourth time staying in this home with a group and every time has been exceptional. The cabin is always clean and welcoming. Everything is in working order and it is always stocked with towels, blankets, toilet paper, etc. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. We always have a great time and the comfortable atmosphere makes the trip truly perfect.

The owners are so amazing and kind. Nice "man cave" this home has 3 levels. 1. For the men. 2. For the women 3. For the kids! Great stay!! Everything was thought of when it comes to this home!!

Our family came together for the Thanksgiving holiday. The place was clean and roomy. Kitchen was large and had everything we needed. Living room was nice with a gas fireplace. Downstairs had another gas fireplace with a pool table. Very pleased. Only complaint was the size of the eating area. Sleeps 16 but could only sit 10-12 comfortable at table. An easy fix would be an extra table to extend the existing one. Again, overall a great place!
