The lodge was absolutely stunning. Perfect for my family and I getting ready the morning of my wedding. One thing to note that even though the location has individual bathrooms per room and a nice kitchen and eating space. I recommend this location- above all it was very comfortable and absolutely beautiful.
When we first pulled down the driveway, we were extremely impressed by the house and property. The property was well groomed and there was plenty of room for lawn games. More impressive was when we entered the house. It was extremely roomy and immaculately clean. We had rented the whole house and were extremely satisfied. For several days we had up to 20 people and we never felt crowded or in each other's way. There was enough seating for all of us at the two tables that we were able to eat together. The owners were very accommodating and responded to all of our inquiries within hours. I would highly recommend this rental not only for the house, but for dealing with the owners. Ken Fasano
Thank you and your family is always welcome back.
We had a gathering of,young, families, and, there was no lack of activities ranging from, boating, kayaking, fishing, swimming and hiking. The house is so so comfortable. Pictures don't do it justice and we had plenty of space to,roam. Fooseball table was a big hit so,were the bonfire and banmington. 5 acre property surrounded by acres of state park land makes it feel like you are on own giant estate. Beach is minutes away for swimming and Blue Mountain and Town of Jim Thorpe is very close. Restaurants and activities at Jim Thorpe are many and for every taste. Will, come, back every year 4 sure.
Great house and even greater people to deal with while renting. This was our 2nd time renting this beautiful property and would without a doubt rent it again. We had plenty of space for our large group gatherings, as well as privacy for all (with private bathroom for each family). Very quiet an secluded, yet close to the lake and local activities. So many fun things to explore in the area. Kayaking on the lake, hiking to the waterfalls and winery nearby were some of our favorites. Historic Jim Thorpe is also a short drive away and we all loved it.
This place was exactly as shown in the pictures, nice big bedrooms and clean bathrooms. Deck was really big and can accommodate lot of people. House was very neat and Marina was really helpful in replying to our needs whenever we called. We shall definitely suggest and revisit this place again in future. Best Regards, Ritesh
Thank you Ritesh, Glad you enjoyed your stay. You were great guests and we are looking forward to having you and your family stay at the lodge again.
We were group of 19 people including children and we all enjoyed a lot. Temperature setting and options were excellent. Clean air, clean home, beautiful landscaping and view. I recommend this to people who like to enjoy as a group. Kitchen was equipped with all appliances and set up. Utensils.
I rented the lake house for my 30th birthday with 18 of my closest friends. The sleeping situation was perfect for everybody, the house is gorgeous inside and out. The house is fully stocked in everything and the setup is great for a large group of people being in one area. The views from the deck you can see the lake and the property. We stayed here in November but it was suited for year round activities. I would recommend this house to anyone that wants to get away and breathe some fresh air. Everyone of my friends are still talking about how great of a time it was. I would definitely rent this house again once in every season to get the full experience. Thank you
We were a large group of six families (12 adults, 7 kids ranging in age from 1 1/2 years old to 12) and this property was perfect. The house is exactly as advertised, well appointed and situated - plus having a bathroom attached to each room was particularly helpful. It is a short walk to the lake and there are tons of activities nearby for adults and kids to include (but not limited to), golfing, the zoo, an enormous indoor waterpark, a brewery and strawberry picking. Marina was incredibly responsive and a great host. Def want to stay there again!
Stayed here with siblings/spouses, total of 12, and had a wonderful weekend. The common areas - living room and dining room - was plenty big enough for 12 of us. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, cutlery, glasses, pots and pans. Each of the six bedrooms have a gas fireplace and spacious bathroom. There is a nice grocery store, Shop Rite, about 10 minutes away, to stock up for your stay. Marina responded quickly to any questions we had. Would definitely stay here again.
Upon arriving, the landscaping and the stateliness of the property are thrilling. We were in the Poconos for our son's wedding. I needed a large Lodge for family, the groomsmen and handicapped family members. This Lodge fit the bill. There is so much good living space to accommodate a large party. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, which is a huge bonus at a function like a wedding. Each bedroom also had access to a balcony or deck with sliding glass doors. We used the extensive back decks and yard throughout the weekend, as our we had friends and family dropping by. We had a few minor concerns, and those were taken care of by the owners quickly and to our satisfaction. The kitchen is well stocked with enough plates, dishes and items with which to cook any meal. This property made us feel safe and at home. We would rent it again should we all remeet in the Poconos!
We stayed for a weekend ski trip in January with our family and friends. This lodge is amazing! Every room is beautiful and comfortable with a fireplace and bathroom. The space was clean and the open layout was great for our kids to run around and play. We would not be more pleased with Marina and Leon who were quick to help out when we couldn't get one of the fireplaces working. We will certainly stay here again the next chance we get! Thank you Marina and Leon!
Ski trip review My family and two other families with children ranging in ages 4-13 came to Lake View Lodge for four nights MLK weekend for our second annual ski trip. This year choosing to try Blue Mountain. What a nice surprise when we arrived to have Marina check in to make sure all was well, which it certainly was. The house is perfectly arranged with each of us having our own rooms with en suite and a huge central area anchored by a beautiful stone fireplace. So nice that their holiday decor was still up adding to the festivity. Dining was a breeze. We ate breakfast and dinner at the house. It was a pleasure to have dining space large enough to eat together and accommodate our large party of 13. The kitchen had everything we needed plus more and it was nice to find the little extras desired or that we had forgotten. We loved the location of this home. How glorious to wake up to amazing views of the lake, mountain side and fields surrounding us. Very private. We were fortunate to get snow for our trip but I would have relished some time to enjoy the outside of this home as it called to me. But we had to suffice by the spectacular views. By the way, each bedroom has it's own private porch with it's own unique view, plus a fireplace, talk about cozy. An added touch was that Marina provided ski passes at a reduced rate. Blue Mountain Ski Resort is only 17 quick minutes away. We relished passing through the covered bridge to get there. By the way, we ate lunch daily at the resort's Slopeside Pub and Grill at Summit Lodge overlooking Blue Mountain. Even got to enjoy our same table by the fireplace each day with great food at a reasonable price, and impeccable, friendly service. This house and trip was a win, win for us all around. We certainly will stay again when return to the area.
Absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. The owners were very supportive, answered all questions, and were accommodating through the whole process. The large beautiful lodge itself sits on a large beautiful lot and it was the perfect venue for our family reunion, . The rooms were large and with each bedroom having its own bathroom the needs of everyone could be met. The entire lodge was both clean and welcoming, and we appreciated the handicap and mobility access accommodations as one of our party utilized a power scooter. The large family room enabled everyone (14 in all) to gather around the table, talk, play games, and enjoy ourselves. The supplied amenities (dishes, linens, Wi-Fi, etc.) were very helpful. The kids were able to enjoy a day of skiing and snowboarding at the nearby ski resort that was only minutes from the lodge. We could not have selected a better venue.....it simply made the week of our reunion most memorable. I cannot say enough good things about this facility and its owners, and I highly recommend it to everyone. We hope to return at sometime in the future. Our grandkids have already asked when can we all go back?
A group, 5 couples, spent 3 nights in this lodge near JimThorpe. The lodge was a wonderful choice for our group, all of whom are in their 70's. We rented the extra suite so we had 3 bedrooms on the first floor so those with mobility issues did not have to go up steps. Every thing was clean and it was well equipped with all we needed. Marina, one of the owners, was very helpful whenever I had any questions or concerns. The description and pictures were accurate and there were no suprises Our group has rented several properties and this was clearly the best one for our needs. If we ever want to return to Beltzville Lake we will surely try to rent this lodge!
We were 11 adults & 3 young children. Having found this perfect home made the weekend far more enjoyable. Seven bedrooms all having a full bath is a rare find. That meant no one was waiting to shower and get ready. That meant leaving the house early enough to enjoy the beautiful weekend. Perfect extended porch out back where we carved our pumpkins. The view is breathing.............thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would DEFINITELY go back again & again..
Several of us used to travel to the Poconos every year to play golf. This year after not doing so for many years we chose this Poconos Lodge for our trip. We had a great time. The house was large and clean and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. We had a chef come in and cook us our meals that added to the enjoyment. Every room has it own full bath and each is very large and comfortable. We could easily had more than our 9 guys stay there. The area is very quiet and peaceful. Although the weather was unusually hot, we enjoyed the spacious deck overlooking the large backyard. Marina and Leonid were very easy to deal with and answered any and all questions promptly and went out of the way to make our stay enjoyable. If we ever return to the Poconos, we would definitely stay there again!
When we planned our family vacation, we set high hopes and expectations on the Lakeview Lodge. .. we were not disappointed at all! In fact, it was an amazing experience and made beautiful memories! We were a group of 11 withe kids. The house is so spacious, well equipped and well maintained. We loved everything in it! The patio, the secluded yards, huge driveway, amneties, proximity to the lake, fire pit,... The place is close to a lot of parks and activities. We would love to go back again! The owners are great and were always available to answer our questions.
Our family had 10 adults and 7 chldren (12 - 16 year olds ). With the suite included, we were all very comfortable and everyone commented on the comfortable beds.. I can't say enough about every bedroom having a full bath. The house has everything you need to cook and dine comfortably. There are plenty of activities in the area to keep busy for the whole week, in fact, we didn't get the chance to do everything we wanted to do. The owners, Marina and Leon met us when we checked in and had the house spotless. Had a lot comments about that from the rest of the family. They were very quick to respond to all of our questions and offered assistance with making group reservations when needed some of which were at a discounted rate that they had set up. We had one issue the first night we were there. One AC unit wasn't operating properly so I contacted Marina and she got on it right away and it was taken care of quickly. Worked great for the rest of the week. Since this is a review, I have to include three very minor cons: The kids were disappointed with the basketball hoop. The TV in the main family room cannot be viewed from one of the couches. We were watching a baseball game one night and it was hard for everyone to see . We weren't able to rent life jackets so we weren't able to utilize the kayaks. I would recommend the Lakeview Lodge to anyone who is wanting a great relaxing vacation. Thank you Marina and Leon for making our week a great one.
Thank you for your feedback. Glad to make our guests's stay a great one! Regarding the couches: we have two focal points in the living room - a fireplace and a TV. The guests are welcome to move the couch (it's not heavy) to suit their needs and to face the fireplace or the TV if needed. As for the life jackets - we specify in the lease that they are not provided (since sizes may vary), but we did bring few life vests for our guests to use. As always, we strive to make our guests happy and comfortable by providing an amazing vacation experience and by always responding to their needs in a timely manner :)
We rented this house for a college reunion weekend over Fourth of July. It was just as beautiful as represented in the pictures. I actually don't think the pictures do it justice, as we were all blown away by how much land we had, the gorgeous deck, and the hammock in the back yard that was the perfect place for an afternoon snooze. Finding a house for a large group was not easy. In total, we were a group of 13 (7 adults and 6 children), looking for a place where we could spend some time catching up with former college roommates. This house was perfect for our needs. The common areas were spacious, and there was plenty of room for all of us all to sprawl out in comfort. There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. Perhaps most impressively, there was even sufficient room in the dining areas, both outdoor and indoor, for us all to dine together. We could be as lazy or as active as we wanted. The lake access was perfect for the fishermen in the group. The children roamed freely in the yard, catching fireflies every evening. We made smore's in the firepit in the yard one evening while sipping on our wine. And the owner responded promptly to every inquiry, including a last minute request to book a whitewater rafting trip. We would definitely recommend. One of our favorite vrbo experiences.
Thank you so much for your feedback. So glad everyone enjoyed their stay and that you were able to go whitewater rafting this holiday weekend. Hope you stay with us for your future reunions and other events.
We had a large party of 18 and all loved this beautiful log home. Plenty of room for everyone, plenty of adventures to be had in the area. View of Beltzville Lake is breathtaking. Owners were easy to work with and they took great care of us. Anyone looking for a place for a large group will not be disappointed.
We are a group of seniors, about half a dozen couples of old friends from schooldays in New York. We now are living all around the country and reunite annually for most of a week at various locations and have been doing so for 12 years. To date this has been the best house we have rented...hands down. Most large rental houses contain a master suite or two and the other bedrooms are often meager and sometimes do not have desired bedding or private baths. All six of this home's bedrooms contained quality queens, their own bath, balcony, TV, and were all furnished nicely. The public rooms consisting of Dining, Living, Kitchen, Bar area and Kitchen dining area were all sized and furnished perfectly. The rear and front common porches were great...good views of lake, woods and grasslands. Nearby are very nice hilly walking streets with almost no traffic and beautiful country settings. One of our friends requires a ramp entrance and this home is set up with all these necessary needs in one of the suites. Our hosts have done a great job with the total property which is evident in it's design, decoration, furnishings, appliances, and friendly management. The result is a spotless home with wonderful ambiance in a perfect Pennsylvania country setting. We had a memorable reunion!
I highly recommend this place. We have been to the Lakeview lodge twice (winter ski trip and 4th of July weekend). The house is clean and beautiful. The bedrooms are excellent with a full bath in each. Kitchen is stocked with the right equipment to feed big groups easily (up to 15). The dining room and living room are spacious. The views are terrific all year round. The state park up the road is a lot of fun during the Summer and the house is a short drive from Blue Mountain during ski season. Best part - an excellent golf course is less than 10 minutes away.
We have stayed in different cabins in PA but Beltzville Lake Lodge is the best ever! Breathtaking truly describes the lake view from both outside and inside the house. Accommodations are first class, skiing, shopping and other fun activities nearby. . The structure is beautifully built with high ceilings, exposed wooden beams and rustic paneling. The front door opens to a huge great room with a double sided hearth fireplac. Each of the 6 bedrooms have their own bathroom, fireplace and terrace. The house is clean, warmly decorated, kitchen fully equipped and bedrooms supplied with fresh linens and towels. You must walk the peaceful, secluded grounds to fully appreciate all the property has to offer. Everyone in our group just loved staying at the lodge! Finally the owner Marina was great to work with throughout the whole renting process. We definitely intend on visiting Beltzville Lake Lodge again!
Glad you and your friends enjoyed your stay. We look forward to having you stay with us again in the future.
